Pastor Jesse G. Johnson & Elder Jacquelyne E. Johnson
Pastor Jesse G. Johnson and First Lady Elder Jacquelyne E. Johnson, were married March 21, 1982 in Houston, Texas. They raised 3 children, Thomas (Tony), Andrea (Shawn) and Derrick (Dee) and have 6 grandchildren.
Pastor Jesse and Elder Jackie left Houston July 8th, 1992 and relocated in Norcross, GA. after their Bishop R.L. Finney, Sr., and the Elders of the Church laid hands on them and released and sent them out.
They started Sufficient Grace Tabernacle on October 4, 1992 in their living room with about 16 people who had been attending Friday night Bible Study in their home. After a couple of weeks, the Church moved to the Courtyard Marriott in Norcross, GA off of Holcomb Bridge. The Church then relocated to Norcross-Tucker Rd., in Norcross, Georgia.
After 13 years, God positioned Sufficient Grace to purchase their own property and building in Lilburn, Georgia, where the Church currently resides to this day.
" Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine. For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The Labourer [is] worthy of his reward". [I Timothy 5:17-18]
